1. Medical Disclaimer - Please Read First

Lulani offers general educational information, not medical advice. It is not a medical device, it does not diagnose or monitor any condition, and it is not a substitute for care from a qualified health professional.

• Every pregnancy is different. Always follow the guidance of your doctor or midwife, and contact them about anything that worries you - including anything the App suggests may be normal.
• The contraction timer, kick counter, weight log, and week calculations are convenience tools for recording and understanding your own observations. They cannot detect labour, distress, or any complication, and their output must never be used in place of professional assessment.
• Due dates and pregnancy weeks shown in the App are estimates based on the date you enter. Your provider's dating takes precedence.
• Guidance content is written from published material by public health bodies and professional organisations (including ACOG, CDC, AAP, MedlinePlus, March of Dimes, and USPSTF). Those organisations do not endorse, review, sponsor, or have any affiliation with the App, and general guidance may not apply to your circumstances.
• In an emergency, or if you are worried about yourself or your baby, contact your provider or your local emergency number immediately. Do not delay seeking care because of anything in this App.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using the Lulani mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App. The App is provided by Adam Neumann ("we," "our," or "us"), an individual developer.

You must be old enough to enter into a binding agreement in your country, and you must comply with Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which also applies to your use of the App.

3. What the App Does

Lulani is a pregnancy tracking and information app for iOS. It includes:

• Weekly guidance: what is happening with your baby and your body, a suggested task, and a calm note for each week up to 40
• Symptom guidance: common pregnancy symptoms with what usually helps and the signs that warrant contacting your provider
• Appointments: visit records, suggested questions to ask, reminders, and PDF preparation sheets
• Timers and logs: contraction timer with pattern information, kick counter, and weight log
• Birth plan: a structured plan you build yourself, localised per country, exportable as a PDF
• Checklists: hospital bag and preparation lists
• Journal: private notes, moods, symptom tags, and photos

Content is localised for a number of countries. Localisation reflects general maternity care practice in that country and is not a statement about your specific care provider or health system entitlements.

4. Your Data and Your Responsibility

Your pregnancy data is stored on your own device. We operate no accounts and no servers, and we do not receive your data. This means:

• You are responsible for your own data and backups. Keep an encrypted iPhone backup if this content matters to you. We cannot recover data from a lost, damaged, reset, or wiped device, and we cannot restore anything you delete.
• You are responsible for what you enter, including any information about other people (for example a partner's or provider's details) and for anything you export or share.
• Deleting the App deletes its data from your device.

5. Purchases

The App is free to download and offers optional premium access:

• One-time purchase, not a subscription. Premium is a non-consumable in-app purchase that does not renew and does not expire. There is nothing to cancel.
• Sold and processed by Apple. All payments, prices, taxes, and receipts are handled by the App Store. Prices may vary by storefront and may change, and promotional pricing may be offered for a limited time.
• Restoring: you can restore a previous purchase on the same Apple Account using the "Restore" option on the premium screen.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies, not by us. Requests can be made at reportaproblem.apple.com. We can help with technical problems, but we cannot issue refunds.
• Premium unlocks additional content and features in the App. Free features remain available without a purchase, and buying premium never changes how your data is handled.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App, except to the extent this is expressly permitted by applicable law
• Attempt to circumvent purchase verification or otherwise obtain premium features without paying for them
• Copy, redistribute, resell, or republish the App's guidance content, illustrations, or other materials
• Present the App's content as medical advice to others, or use it to advise others professionally

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its software, design, illustrations, and written guidance content, is owned by us and protected by copyright and other laws. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use the App on devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use.

The content you create - your journal entries, notes, photos, birth plan, and logs - remains yours. We claim no rights over it, and since it never reaches us, we have no way to use it.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ITS CONTENT, CALCULATIONS, OR REMINDERS WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, TIMELY, OR SUITABLE FOR YOUR CIRCUMSTANCES. NOTIFICATIONS AND REMINDERS DEPEND ON YOUR DEVICE AND ITS SETTINGS AND MAY BE DELAYED OR NOT DELIVERED.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of or relating to your use of the App - including any decision made or delayed on the basis of information, timings, calculations, or reminders in the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Consumers in the European Union, United Kingdom, and other jurisdictions with mandatory consumer protection laws keep all rights those laws grant them, and those rights are not affected by this section.

10. Changes and Availability

We may update the App, change or remove features, or discontinue it. We may also revise these Terms; the "Last Updated" date above shows when, and material changes will be noted in the App's release notes. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the revised Terms. A one-time purchase already made will not be converted into a subscription.

11. Apple

Apple is not a party to these Terms and has no obligation to provide support for the App. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content, and is not liable for any claim relating to it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of that country.
